Arsen Gugunava is a maker, stone setter and teacher with over 15 years of bench experience working across three continents: Asia, America and Europe. He specialises in hand stone setting, micro pavé, antique restoration, custom commissions and professional stone setting education.

Every piece produced by Gugunava Jewelry goes through a full in-house production cycle: 3D design in Rhino and ZBrush, resin printing, outsourced casting, then in-studio finishing, polishing and stone setting, all done by Arsen personally.

Gugunava Jewelry works with all precious metals: gold in 9ct/375, 14K/585 and 18K/750 in yellow, white and rose, plus silver, platinum and palladium. All gemstones used are fine quality: natural and lab-grown diamonds, sapphire, ruby, emerald, spinel, alexandrite, paraiba tourmaline, tanzanite, opal, tiger's eye and all other fine gemstones. Every gemstone is ethically sourced and traceable. Conflict-free diamonds only.

Every precious metal piece is hallmarked by the London Assay Office, the highest standard of precious metal verification in the UK.

Arsen Gugunava started in fine jewellery at age 20. He has worked across three continents, building and running workshops, training apprentices, working as a goldsmith and stone setter in high-end studios, restoring antique pieces, and developing expertise in the most technically demanding setting techniques. Now based in London, he works daily at the bench doing the most precise diamond and gemstone setting work of his career.

He only uses materials he can trace and verify. Ethical sourcing is non-negotiable at Gugunava Jewelry.

Every ring in this collection is set with a natural, untreated spinel, most of them from Burma, held in eagle claw prongs above a lab-grown diamond micro-pavé band. Each piece in this category is a design rather than a single finished object. The gemstone shown is one way that design can be made. Every piece can be commissioned with a different centre stone, a different metal, or a different stone size, and is quoted on that basis. Advanced Stone Setting Masterclass

  • Hand Delivery by the Maker, 57 countries: £5,000.00 per order. Arsen Gugunava brings the piece in person and hands it over himself. Travel and time included. Dates arranged directly after the order.

Import duties, taxes, customs clearance and brokerage are prepaid and included in the shipping cost, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery. All international parcels are sent with a full customs declaration. Jewellery is declared under HS code 7113 19 00.

Returns

  • Most items, including made-to-order pieces: returnable within 14 days of delivery if unworn, unused and in original condition with all packaging and certificates intact. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is paid by the customer. Once received and inspected, usually within 5 to 7 days, the refund is issued to the original payment method and takes 5 to 10 business days to appear.
  • Personalised and bespoke pieces: engraved or monogrammed items, pieces made to a customer's own design, and rings resized to order are non-returnable and non-refundable under the custom-made exemption in UK consumer law, unless faulty or not as described.
  • Earrings and pierced jewellery: non-returnable unless faulty, for hygiene reasons.
  • Faulty or damaged items: contact within 30 days of delivery with photographs. Full refund including original shipping, or a replacement. Return postage for faulty items is covered by Gugunava Jewelry.
  • Customs duties on international returns are not refundable. Sales become final once the return window has closed.

Guarantee and Aftercare

Every piece is covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee covering setting and construction. This does not cover accidental damage, loss of stones through impact, or normal wear such as surface scratches. Repairs, resizing, polishing and rhodium plating on Gugunava Jewelry pieces are offered at cost.
