Grey is the wrong word for it. There's blue-violet running right through this stone, a green cast underneath it in places, and a violet flash at one end that only shows when the light hits square on. Two colours living in one crystal.

Sourced in Burma, cut and polished in Thailand.

This is what an untouched stone looks like. Heated and treated gems are made to sit still on one colour; this one moves. Full daylight brings the blue-violet forward and lights the corner flash. Indoors it settles back into cool grey.
