Sourced in Burma, cut and polished in Thailand.

In daylight the pink comes up warm and clear across the whole stone.
Step into shade and it softens almost to white. Nothing was heated to lock the colour in place — this is how untreated pink spinel behaves.
I chose this spinel myself in Bangkok — by hand, in daylight.
Untreated stones are never identical, so this colour won't come back.
